±8± Best Buy It's hard to be critical of the Ring Magazine, as they are often the only consistent driving force behind provide objective Boxing News and advocate the reform of the sport were. Other boxing publications and personalities have come and gone, but the ring remained around & have remained true to its informative, straight-from-the-hip format. Ring Magazine wades through the sea of alphabet organizations, corrupt promoters and celebrate with qualified refs for the sport if it is shiny and set itif it fails.

Awards aside, Ring Magazine open to criticism. First of the ring and its sister publications Kappa (KO & World Boxing) seem to duplicate their services. With the brevity of the themes and content, it would be easier to summarize the three magazines in one? Moreover, it appears the "flashback" segments in Ring magazine often as filler. Sure, the articles are interesting insights into the history of sport, but simply republish past articles literallyseems like a cheap way to fatten on the magazine. Finally, the price of the Ring Magazine expensive - coupled with the fact that you basically need to get additional subscription, the "special problems" - you feel as if you had to be. The ring is a good magazine, but it has to work harder if it wants to be the champion.
